I am a French-born collage artist and self-taught amateur photographer currently living in Alexandria, Virginia.

In my work, I use real vintage collage media that I source in France or abroad, during my trips back home or exploring other countries. All the items listed in my shop are one of a kind, put together with old postcards, newspapers and other memorabilia that I dig from my grandparents' trunks in South West France or flea markets. I do not print reproductions of my collages meaning that each piece is unique. I see treasures in materials that have existed in another era than the one we are currently living in. I like the patina of time on their appearance, the aesthetics of color and print-types juxtaposition I can play with through collage.

I see beauty in everyday things - an antique map, an old print magazine clipping, a vintage cocktail book page... I love giving these materials a new life and romance while evoking far away places and past moments in time.

I called my shop "Jolie Feuille". Jolie means pretty or aesthetically pleasing. Feuille has several meanings in French - it can be a sheet of paper, the basis of the materials used in my work, but also the leaf of a tree: growing, changing color, renewing itself. There is always potential for a new story to tell in something that could be discarded but carries magic and a second life within.
